A police officer ased nearly seven years ago to investigate the alleged fraudulent cashing of a check spotted the suspect Friday afternoon on South Main St. Billingslea said she contacted the suspect, Cherokee Bardliving, after taking the complaint in June,and Bardliving, who allegedly admitted cashing the check, promised to turn herself in, but never did.
